The 51st Annual Invitational is in the books. This year we changed the tournament format a little bit. We added another senior flight and cut back on the number of regular flights. Brian Reagan finally broke through and captured his first stein. Four other champions were also first time winners. Brian played exceptionally well all weekend by shooting a 2-under 175. Most flights had great competition right to the end and gave us exciting finishes. Click here to see the full results.
2011 marked the 25th anniversary of the Pro Insurance golf tournament. The Pro Inusrance is responsible for many of the cart paths we use daily. MVL – Thrivent Financial Results
This year marked the 5th annual B&L Classic and Mixer. The scores were a tad bit higher this year, but one team prevailed at -16 under. Randy Cole, Dale Strandmark, Don Olson, Laray Johnson, and John Fitterer came out on top. We had a great turnout this year and want to thank everyone who played. Club Championship Results
Our 2011 championship was held last weekend. Over 70 players participated in this two day event. Congratulations to all of our flight winners. This is the first year we have held this event on a weekend and played 36 holes for each flight. The format was a huge success and we plan on even a bigger turnout in 2012. 2011 Ladie’s Invitational Results
We would like to thank all of the sponsors that helped make this such a great event. 15 local businesses gave to this tournament and made it that much better. The tournament also raised $460 for the MWGA scholarship fund. Thanks to all.
Schell’s Bottle Opener Results
The 11th annual Schell’s Bottle Cap Open is in the books, and it was a close one. At the end of the day there was one team left standing. The team of Glenn Peters, Ken Berg, Rob Geistfeld, Chad Schmidt, and Florian Schnobrich shot a 129 (-15) to win by one shot. 2011 marked the 11th playing of the Canon Pro-Am. The event was as good as possible, but the scores were a little bit higher this year. A team of members stood alone at the end of the day. Greens Keeper’s Revenge Results: Once again, Curt and Johnny got their personal revenge. This year’s playing of the Green’s Keeper’s Revenge was the fourth annual and had the most players in the history of the event, 52. Tim Franzeen out of Oakdale Golf Club, tied the tournament history low with a 74, which was great playing. Johnny Larson was right on his heels with a 75.
